Winx Club Frutti Music Bar Review (Jakks Pacific)

What It Is

Winx Club is a new show on Nickelodeon that follows six best friends—Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, and Aisha—as they navigate their way through Alfea College, the finest fairy school. The girls can transform into fairies and use their unique magical powers to fight villains. They also play in a band. Kids can bring the fairy fun to life with the Frutti Music Bar playset.

This playset is for use with the Winx Club 3.75-inch Action Dolls. The playset comes with a 3.75-inch Bloom doll but other Winx Club dolls are sold separately. The Frutti Music Bar playset has five areas of play. Spin Bloom on the stage and watch her rock out to Winx Club music. Place Bloom in the special chamber to transform her from girl to fairy. Raise the chamber platform, and push the button on the back of the wings stand to eject the doll and fairy wings. Kids can also shoot the three plastic Dragon Flame discs to knock over the cardboard target of Icy. Just press the footprint button to shoot. And there is the Frutti Bar where kids can pretend to make smoothies for the Winx Club dolls and extra space for the dolls to sit and relax.

Is It Fun?

The Frutti Music Bar brings the fun and magic of the TV series to life. Kids will like reenacting the girl-to-fairy transformation that is so central to the Winx Club story as well as rocking out with the Winx Club band and helping the dolls take down Icy.

Who It’s For

The Frutti Music Bar is for ages 4 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Three button cell batteries are included, but these are for in-store try-me features. Jakks Pacific recommends replacing them before you play for best results.
