Thomas & Friends Trackmaster Risky Rails Bridge Drop Review (Fisher-Price)

What It Is

The Thomas & Friends Trackmaster Risky Rails Bridge Drop is based on the new Thomas DVD, Blue Mountain Mystery. This set has more than four feet of track and a two-foot mountain. This complete playset comes with a full loop of winding mountainous track, a boulder shoot, a real working crane, a zip line, and a drop-bridge that drops Thomas onto the tracks just before he steams over the edge. Preschoolers can use Merrick the Crane to load and unload rocks down the zip-line at the quarry, and then use the switch track to send the engine around the mountain track or up to the drop-bridge. Risky Rails Bridge Drop comes with a Thomas engine and a cargo car with boulder.

Is It Fun?

Preschoolers will love the surprise of the top track falling down to meet the bottom track just before Thomas goes off the edge. That stunt adds some excitement to this great train set. Preschoolers will also like unloading rocks and sending them down the zip line as well as recreating scenes from Blue Mountain Mystery or creating all-new adventures for Thomas.
