Total Control Racing is part of the Team Hot Wheels line. The Hot Wheels vehicles in this line utilize infrared technology and are controlled with a remote control. These 1:64-scale super fast cars can be powered up to 500 scale miles per hour. The remote control also doubles as a charger for the vehicles. Attach the car on the top of the controller, and when the green light goes out, it's ready to play. A single charge lasts about 20 minutes. The car goes forward and backward, and there is a turbo button for bursts of high-powered speed. Designed for indoor play, the remote control and car work within a range of about 15 feet. There are four different cars in the line (sold separately), and they are all compatible with Team Hot Wheels Total Control Racing track sets, which are sold separately.
Total Control Racing uses sophisticated, high-speed technology and puts kids in control. This is easy to use and provides a great value. Kids will like racing these fast cars on their own or using them in the Total Control Racing track sets.
Hot Wheels Total Control Racing Car & Charger sets are for ages 6 and up.
The controller requires four AA batteries, which are not included. The car is powered by a permanently installed rechargeable Li-Po battery.
TCR stunt tracks are sold separately, and can enhance the play, though kids will probably get a kick out of building their own tracks, obstacles and challenges for these cars.
The Total Control Racing cars are not for use with some Hot Wheels sets, according to Mattel.
