Angry Birds Space Review (Rovio)

What It Is

The latest highly addictive Angry Birds game, Angry Birds: Space, takes us to outer space where those lazy pigs have once again positioned themselves on and in various structures. It’s up to you to figure out how to hit those pigs by launching a series of birds from a sling-shot. Each bird has a unique power, such as the ability to explode, freeze surfaces and split into three birds.

Is It Fun?

Taking the action into space creates a whole new game mechanic. There is zero gravity in space so your birds will drift off screen if they miss their mark so targeting and aim is important. Large items such as planets have a gravitational pull so you can use these objects to home in on the pigs. On some levels, the best way to hit a pig is by getting your bird into a planet’s orbit until the planet’s gravity pulls it down to the surface and hopefully, hits the pig.

Who It’s For

Angry Birds Space is perfect for casual gamers of all ages.
